Description

Elibank House is an 18th-century house, altered subsequently. It is constructed of red brick with an old tile roof and a moulded cornice. The house is two storeys high and consists of five bays, with the central three bays projecting forward. These projecting bays are quoined and topped with a pediment. Quoins are also present on the left and right sides of the facade. The ground floor features a modern bay window, a sash window with glazing bars and a rusticated stone head, a modern closed porch with a stone front and pediment, and another sash and bay window. The first floor has a Venetian window, a sash window with a rusticated stone head, an arched window with scrolls and ears flanking it, and another sash and Venetian window. A glazed lunette is set within the pediment. A narrow brick terrace with a retaining wall sits in front of the house.
