Description
Abbey Barn Farmhouse is a building from the 17th or 18th century, constructed of colourwashed brick and topped with an old tile roof featuring three hipped two-light casement dormers. The farmhouse has two storeys and attics, with three sash windows set in reveals, complete with glazing bars and cambered arches. The central entrance door is accompanied by an oblong fanlight and is sheltered by a cut bracketed hood. The building has a stucco plinth and a corbelled brick cornice. There is also a one-storey and attic west wing that includes a lattice casement window and a gabled dormer. Abbey Barn Farmhouse, along with its outbuilding and barns, forms a group.
