Description

House. Dating to the 17th century, it has been altered since. The house is timber framed with brick infill, and has an old tile roof, hipped at the southeast end and overhanging on the northeast side, supported by three moulded oak brackets. A large brick stack is centrally located, with a section to the northwest having a lower roof level. The building is two storeys high and features an open-gabled porch opposite the chimney. Modern leaded casement windows are present: five on each floor. An offset chimney is located at the southeast end, and modern additions are visible on the southwest side. The interior follows a three-room lobby entry plan, with inglenook fireplaces on either side of the central stack, as well as exposed beams and wall framing.
