Description

April Cottage is a house with origins dating back to the 17th century, with significant alterations made in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is two storeys high and built of red brick with purple brick headers. The front elevation features two three-light leaded casement windows. A brick eaves cornice runs along the top, and the roof is covered with old tiles, with a higher ridge on the right-hand side. There are two chimney stacks. The underlying structure is timber-framed.
