Description
Hughenden Manor Farmhouse is a notable example of a late 17th century or early 18th century farmhouse located in the Chilterns. The building features red stretchers and grey headers with a rubble base, topped by a hipped old tiled roof that has a wooden modillion cornice. It stands two storeys high with an attic, a plinth, and a first-floor band. The façade includes six flush sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath red cutter flat arches. The left central doorway is a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight and is adorned with a gabled hood supported by console brackets. Hughenden Manor Farmhouse and its associated barns are recognized as a group.
