Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century red-brick house situated on the east side of Penn Street. It is a two-storey, two-bay building with a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The windows are barred box sashes, and the ground floor windows are set within cambered arches constructed of red and grey brick. A 19th-century trellis porch shelters the central front door. Brick stacks are present on each side of the building, with the right-hand stack featuring tiled weatherings.
