Description
North Lodge is a lodge house dating to approximately 1814-1821, built for Strickland Freeman. The building is constructed of whitewashed render with a slate roof. It has a single storey and comprises three bays. Architectural details include a plinth, a moulded eaves cornice, and corner pilasters topped with offset caps. The outer bays feature three-pane sash windows in plain architraves. The central bay has a half-glazed door within a porch with a shallow gabled roof supported by piers with offset caps. The side walls have gabled projections. A plainer wing extends to the rear.
