Description

This small barn and stable, located to the east of The Old Cottage, dates from the mid-18th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboard cladding and an old tiled roof. The barn consists of three bays and has garage doors on the left, a board door, and a 20th-century leaded window. Inside, it has queen strut trusses with curved braces supporting the tie beams, along with curved wind-braces in the central bay. Attached to the left is a smaller stable, which is one bay wide and includes a board door and a hayloft door. The building is included for its group value.
