Description

Briarwood, formerly known as Cudsden Cottage, is a 17th-century building that features a timber frame encased in brick, which is rendered and colorwashed. It has an old tiled roof and stands two storeys high. The windows are modern leaded casements. The layout consists of a three-room plan with a large central stack, and there is a blocked door that once led to the original entrance lobby beside the stack. Inside, you can find large inglenook fireplaces and original beams, adding to its historical character.
