Description

The premises occupied by George Holt and Son is a notable example of a chairmaking workshop from the 19th century, reflecting the traditional industry of the town. The building features a whitewashed brick ground floor and a weatherboarded first floor. The roof is covered with asbestos corrugated sheets. There are six two-light casements with glazing bars. A wide passageway is located on the right side of the ground floor, with a doorway on the first floor situated above this passage.
