Description
Corners Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century, featuring two bays on the right side, with later wings that are possibly from the early 19th century on the left and at an angle to the rear, along with a 20th-century extension in the rear corner. The 17th-century bays have a timber frame with whitewashed render infill and angle braces, while the left bays are also rendered and whitewashed. The building has old tile roofs and brick chimneys. The 17th-century bays are two storeys high and blind to the front, with a later external chimney in the center. The right gable includes 20th-century French doors and a four-light leaded casement window on the first floor. The two bays on the left are lower, consisting of one storey and an attic, featuring 20th-century leaded casement windows. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, and the upper windows are located in gabled dormers. There is an off-centre board door within a 20th-century lean-to porch.
