Description
Woodspeen is a cottage from the 18th century that has been extended. It was apparently built as a pair of cottages and features witchert construction that is rendered and painted. The thatched roof is half hipped at each end, with a central chimney that has a brick pilaster. There is one three-light eaves dormer. The building is one storey and has an attic, with a central door that has a modern gabled porch and a three-light leaded casement window on each side. To the right, there is a lower outbuilding that is rendered with a hipped thatched roof. The new part of the house has three small casements, one of which is located in a former doorway on the left side. At the rear, there is an outshot under the continuation of the roof and a small modern rear wing, both of which are rendered and thatched. Inside, there is a large central stack with an inglenook fireplace on each side and two old winding staircases behind it, indicating the building's history as two separate cottages.
