Description
Nos 14 and 16 on London End are late 17th century and 18th century buildings constructed of red and blue brick, topped with an old tile roof. They feature a centrally located chimney cluster on the ridge and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the first floor, there are three 3-light casements and two 2-light casements, with the windows of No 16 having leaded lights. The ground floor of No 16 includes a door to the house, a door to the shop, and a shallow square bay shop window, all under a single timber cornice. There is also a modern 3-light casement with a cambered relieving arch and leaded lights. No 14 has one 2-light casement, one modern bow window, and a door beneath a pedimented hood on brackets, along with one 3-light casement. Both buildings' casements have cambered relieving arches.
