Description
Number 9, Market Square, known as "The Old Bank House," dates to 1765. It slightly projects forward compared to the adjacent Number 7, sharing a similar architectural treatment. The upper floors feature a single three-light sash window, with the glazing bars now removed. A late 19th-century shop front occupies the ground floor. Numbers 5 to 9 (the odd numbers) and The King's Head Hotel form a cohesive group.
