Description

Nos 53 and 55 on Church Street in Great Missenden are 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick, which may enclose earlier fabric. They have a half-hipped old tile roof and stand two storeys tall. The left side features a six-panel door with a small bracket hood and a half-round fanlight set under a brick arch. To the right of the door is a double-hung sash window, followed by a modern casement window on the far right. The first floor has similar windows to those below, with a three-light leaded casement on the right. The gable end has one sash window on the ground floor and two on the first floor.
