Description
The garden balustrade and gate piers at Lavington Park, located to the north of the house, were built in 1903 and are likely designed by Detmar Blow. The structure features a white brick base with balusters made of Roman cement, standing about three feet high, topped with coping. These balusters are interspersed with taller square piers that have ball caps. At the southeast end, there is a pair of tall square gate piers leading to the drive, which are faced with flints and have long and short stone quoins, also topped with ball caps.
