Description
Littlegreen is a large 18th-century mansion now used by West Sussex County Council as a school. The building has been altered and enlarged over time, with the original part located at the west end. It is two storeys high and has nine windows, constructed of painted brick with a tiled roof. This section features a symmetrical design with two projecting portions, each having two windows and a gable that resembles a pediment, along with a recessed window-bay to the west of each. Additionally, there is an irregular projecting portion with three windows at the west end. To the east of the original house, there is a further section of eight windows that was built or altered in the 19th century, which includes two similar gables but is faced in roughcast.
