Description

Nos 8 and 9 Compton is a two-storey building dated 1860, located in Compton Village. The exterior is faced with flints and features red brick dressings and quoins. It has a tiled roof and two windows. The ground floor has casement windows with latticed panes and brick dripstones above them, while the first floor features small gables over its windows. A stone tablet on the building displays the date 1860 along with the inscription "The Fear of God maketh the house sure."
