Description
The Village School and Schoolmaster's House is a late 19th-century building attributed to G E Street, designed in the Gothic style. It is L-shaped and constructed of flints, featuring red brick quoins, bands, and dressings. The school section is a single storey with a gabled tiled roof and mullioned windows that include horizontal glazing bars. The gable end is timber-framed and has a large Gothic window. In front, there is a projecting timber-framed gable with a three-light Gothic window. Adjacent to the school is the schoolmaster's house, which has one storey and an attic, also featuring a timber-framed gable and large chimney stacks with offsets at the rear.
