Description
Birling Manor is an L-shaped building dating from the 18th century or earlier. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The south-west elevation features three windows and three dormers, while the south-east side has four windows. The exterior is faced with flints, accented by red brick dressings and quoins, while the north front is stuccoed. The building has a tiled roof and retains its glazing bars. A notable feature is the four-centred stone doorway. To the north-west, there is an almost separate wing that runs parallel to the main structure and has a hipped roof.
