Description
Irongates Lodge, located at the North Marden Gateway to Up Park, dates from the late 18th century. It features a high brick arch with a stone key block and imposts, topped with a pediment and a brick cornice. The structure has a slate roof. Below the arch is a double iron gate with a spear pattern at the top and bottom, bordered by circles and squares. There is a similar smaller gate on the side. To the east, there is a one-storey red brick lodge building with one window, which is contemporary to Irongates Lodge. Originally, there was a similar building to the west, but it has been incorporated into a larger 19th-century red brick building that is two storeys high and has three windows, which is not listed.
