Description

The Swiss Cottage is a mid-19th century building designed to resemble a timber-framed structure, forming an L-shape. It has six windows and is two stories high. The ground floor is faced with cobbles laid in a galletting pattern. The upper floor exhibits red and white brickwork with decorative timber panels. The northwest wing is tile-hung, featuring a gable with scalloped bargeboards. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement style. The south wing contains three gabled dormers and three porches, each with a sloping tiled roof.
