Description

The Parish Church of St Mary is a Grade I listed building located in Barlavington. It features a chancel and nave with a south aisle, as well as an arch for a bell at the west end of the nave. Originally, there was a north aisle to the nave, but this has been demolished. The pillars and blocked arcade from the late 12th century remain, while the rest of the church dates back to the early 13th century. The church has undergone little restoration.
