Description

Michaelmus Cottage is a 16th-century timber-framed cottage, possibly originally a clergy house before the Reformation. The south end of the cottage was added later. The original section has plaster and red brick infilling between the timber framing, while the south end is constructed with red brick. It has a thatched roof to the original section and a tiled roof to the later addition. The windows are casement windows. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows facing the front.
