Description
The Stream Basin and Conduit-house is a 19th-century structure located on the south side of Fulking the Street. It features a square stone basin designed to collect water from the stream that flows down from the hill to the east. Adjacent to the basin on the northwest is a small red brick building topped with a curved pyramidical roof made of fishscale tiles, which has a terra cotta finial. The building includes a pointed doorway with elaborate iron hinges. On the east side, there is a tiled panel inscribed with the words: "He sendeth springs into the valleys which run among the hills. Oh! that men would praise the Lord for his goodness."
