Description
This structure is a combined drinking fountain, water trough, and reservoir built in 1866. It features a central pointed brick arch with a tap and a metal rose for the fountain above. Above this arch is a pointed arched tiled surround that includes the inscription "To the glory of God" and remnants of waterlily tiles, with the rest replaced by plain brown tiles. The fountain is flanked by chamfered brick piers topped with stone heads and carved stone spandrels, with additional piers on the sides that enclose stone seats. On either side of the fountain are stone retaining walls that ramp up in the center and are adorned with brick dressings. To the left, there is an integral stone animal trough.
