Description

The Parish Church of St Peter is a Church of England building located in Firle. The chancel dates from the 13th century, while the rest of the church was constructed in the 14th century. The church features a chancel with a north chapel, known as the Gage chapel, which now serves as the vestry. It also includes a nave with aisles, a south porch, and a west tower. The Gage chapel contains brasses and monuments dedicated to members of the Gage family of Firle Place.
