Description
The Butler's House at Petworth House is a two-storey building from the early 19th century, which was previously occupied by the Butler of Petworth House and is now home to the Administrator of the National Trust. The house features three windows and is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins. It has an eaves cornice and a slate roof, with intact glazing bars. There is a porch accessed by three steps, which has an iron handrail, Doric columns, and a round-headed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight. Additionally, there is a pentice section that is one storey high with one window located to the south.
