Description
The Stables of Ashcombe House, built in the 18th century, are located to the south-west of Ashcombe House, adjacent to the farm buildings of Ashcombe Farm. This two-storey structure features a ground floor faced with flints, accented by red brick dressings and quoins, while the upper floor is covered with tarred weatherboarding. The roof is hipped and tiled. The central section of the stables projects outward and includes a coachhouse door on the ground floor, with a loft door above flanked by a window on either side and topped with a pediment. Each wing of the building has two windows on the ground floor and two lunettes above.
