Description
The Old Farmhouse is a large L-shaped farmhouse, originally built in the 17th century or earlier, which has been converted into two cottages and is currently undergoing renovation. The structure features a timber frame with red brick infilling, and part of the main or north front has been refaced with red brick and grey headers. A stringcourse runs along the building, and there is a gable at the west end of the north front. The windows are casements with small square panes. A massive crow-stepped chimney breast is located on the west wall of the west wing, while a smaller one is found on the west wall of the south wing. The east wall is now tile-hung and includes a chimney breast made of brick, stone, and flints. Additionally, the south wall of the south wing has a brick chimney breast.
