Description
This is a large barn, approximately 30 metres south of King's House, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of Hythe sandstone rubble with some galleting and features red brick dressings. The barn has a half-hipped tiled roof, with the ends weatherboarded. There are two dove-holes and a plank door on the side facing the house. The side facing the road includes a cambered headed opening with a pegged wooden architrave and a wooden shutter on wooden pintle hinges. Similar windows are found on the front, along with double doors. Attached to the rear is a pigsty made from the same materials. Inside, there is a chamfered beam with run-out stops.
