Description
Springhead Farmhouse, dated 1811, is a two-storey building that features five windows. It is almost identical to Wiggonholt House. The front is constructed with grey headers and white brick dressings, including a stringcourse and long and short quoins. The house has wide overhanging eaves and a hipped slate roof, with intact glazing bars. The round-headed doorway is adorned with fluted pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panel door. There is a porch with a rudimentary pediment, which has likely been added since the original construction. The house displays plaques with the initials "G B 1811" and "C P" (Clive Pearson of Parham Park) from 1948. The sides of the building are faced with stone rubble.
