Description

Annington House is a square house dating from the early 19th century, accompanied by stables that extend to the south. It has five windows on its east-facing front and six on its north-facing front. The house is built of white brick with an eaves bracket cornice, and has a hipped slate roof with intact glazing bars. A central porch with Doric columns, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panelled door leads into the main front, which faces east. The north front features a curved bay window of three windows on both ground and first floors; the ground floor centre window has been converted into a doorway. The south front has a curved bay window of three windows on the ground floor only. The south and west fronts have an attic storey with dormer windows.
