Description

Forge Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, originally constructed with a timber frame and plaster infill. The ground floor has been refaced with stone and is now painted. The north and south walls are constructed of stone rubble, with red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The windows are casement type. The house is one storey high with an attic, and has four windows. It features two gabled dormers.
