Description

The Saxby monument is a chest tomb located 20 yards west-north-west of All Saints' Church, dating from 1849. It is made of stone and features a stepped base that supports a bolection moulded plinth. The tomb has square sides with cut back and battered end panels, topped with a moulded cornice and a pyramidal lid. It is inscribed in memory of Charles Saxby, who died in 1849.
