Description

Tollgate Cottage is a house, originally built as a toll-house in the early 19th century. It is similar in style to the toll-house on Petersfield Road in Midhurst. The building is single-storeyed and constructed of coursed sandstone rubble, with red brick dressings and quoins. The front elevation features a segmental bay in the centre, and contains three casement windows.
