Description

Pear Tree Cottage is an L-shaped house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has a timber-framed structure, with some timbering and red brick infilling visible in one area, while the rest of the building has been refaced with ashlar, stone rubble, cement, red brick, and tile-hanging. There is a brick stringcourse and a tiled roof. The cottage features casement windows and has a red brick chimney breast located at the north end of the east wall. It stands two storeys high and has three windows.
