Description

Bachelor's Gate is a house that dates from the 17th century at the east end, with the main portion built in the 18th century. It features stone rubble construction with red brick dressings and quoins, and the first floor of the easternmost window bay is tile hung. The house has a tiled roof and casement windows. There are two later bays added on the ground floor. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The building is listed as Grade II for its group value.
