Description

This is a late 17th or earlier timber-framed building that has been partly filled in with red brick, stone rubble, and plaster. It incorporates a post office and postmaster’s house, and is named "The Green." The building has a tiled roof and a mix of windows: some are casements, while others are sash windows with glazing bars. A modern, projecting shop addition forms an L-shape on the northwest side. The building is two storeys high and has three windows.
