Description

Malthouse Cottage is a cottage that was formerly part of the Leconfield Estate. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure with exposed timbering on the north wall, which includes plaster infilling, curved braces, and a jettied first floor. The south side has been refaced with stone rubble and has some tile-hanging on the first floor. The cottage has a tiled roof and casement windows, and it stands two storeys high with five windows.
