Description
The well house at Madam's Farm, located to the east of the farmhouse, dates back to the 18th century. It is a small stone building topped with a tiled roof and houses a well equipped with wooden wheels. The well features one large wheel with cruciform spokes that turns a solid wheel, which is operated by wooden cogs. Additionally, a small wooden cogged wheel drives a bar connected to another solid flanged wheel that carries the rope.
