Description

Faldie House, located on Trumley Lane in Mid Lavant, is a pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century. Originally part of the Goodwood Estate, they are characteristic of a local style nicknamed the "Dukery style." The building is of an H-plan form, with two storeys and four windows. It is constructed of coursed flints, with red brick dressings, quoins, and dripstones above the windows. The roof is tiled, and the windows are casement type. The outer window bays project, each with a gable above.
