Description
Kimber Court is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, which incorporates earlier fragments. It is constructed from coursed rubble gritstone and features quoins, coped gables, and moulded kneelers, along with end ashlar ridge stacks and a stone slated roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 2 and 3-light 19th-century chamfered mullioned windows set within slightly projecting surrounds, although the glazing is from the 20th century. The central doorway has a quoined surround and is topped by a shallow bracketed hood, with a 20th-century door. At the rear, there is a cat-slide roof, along with a lower attached pitched roof building. The east gable has narrow 2-light mullioned windows.
