Description

The Coach House, originally a coach house for the Crown, dates from the early 18th century and was later converted into a house and raised to two storeys. The lower storey is made of roughly-dressed stone, while the upper storey features dressed stone. It has a graduated slate roof and consists of two storeys with three bays. The central entrance has a boarded door with a margined overlight, flanked by two blocked segmental arches. To the left of the door is a sash window, and to the right is a small canted bay window with a stone pent roof. There is a band at the first floor level, above which are three sash windows. The roof is very steeply pitched, with reverse-stepped gables and banded end stacks.
