Description
The garden house, located approximately 20 yards west of Holystone Grange, was reconstructed in 1933 using materials from 1889-93 that were originally part of Haggerston Castle, which was demolished. The building is constructed of ashlar and is a single storey with three bays.
On the right side, there is a round-headed doorway featuring a wooden architrave and a two-leaf door with a fanlight above. To the left, there are two full-length windows that are framed by Ionic columns, topped with a moulded cornice. The building has a flat roof with a shallow glass dome. Inside the dome, there is a 19th-century Baroque plaster frieze.
