Description

The Turnbull headstone, located approximately 2 yards south of the Church of St. Cuthbert, dates from 1735 and commemorates Andrew Turnbull. This headstone is made of sandstone and features Ionic pilasters along with a scrolled pediment that displays an angel. On the rear side, there is a high-relief carving of an angel holding a staff, accompanied by symbols of eternity.
