Description
Thornhill is an 18th-century house located on the east side of High Street in Hinderwell. It is constructed from coursed squared stone and features a first-floor band. The roof is swept and covered with pantiles, complemented by stone copings and brick chimneys at both ends. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in alternating-block surrounds that include keystones. The entrance is marked by a six-panel door, also framed in a similar surround.
