Description

This is a sundial located approximately 20 metres south-east of Smout House, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and features an octagonal pedestal and base that stands about 1.36 metres high, raised on two steps and square in shape. The top face of the pedestal is circular and is inscribed with the points of the compass.
