Description
Park Gate Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with a pantile roof featuring a kneeler on the left and two modern brick stacks. The farmhouse consists of two sections and has two windows on the upper floor, both hung sashes with glazing bars, with the right window having a wooden lintel. On the ground floor to the left, there is an early 19th-century shallow canted bay set on a stone base, which is covered by a later pantiled pentice that extends over a door with six fielded panels and a three-light rectangular fanlight, accessed by three steps. To the right on the ground floor, there is one hung sash window with glazing bars and a wooden lintel. Park Gate Farmhouse, along with the farm buildings associated with Park Gate Farm, forms a cohesive group.
