Description
This farmhouse at West Farm has origins dating back to the 18th century, with additions and alterations made in the mid-19th century. The northern wing is from the 18th century and features two storeys built from coursed stone, topped with a pantile roof. It has one window with three lights above a similar window, and one casement window with a lintel that includes a keystone. The southern section also has 18th-century origins, showcasing pantiles on the front and Welsh slate on the rear, with irregular window placements and a later one-storey extension at the front. The building has coped gable ends and a part dentil cornice. The rear wing, which includes 19th-century features, has a door at the angle and windows with lintels that have keystones, as well as one window with a wooden lintel and small kneelers. This farmhouse, along with the farm buildings at West Farm, forms a cohesive group.
